Delicious Floral French Art NOUVEAU Antique Belle Epoque Rose SWIRL Whiplash 18k Gold Ring Large 1.1"

As far as I am concerned, rings like these belong in a museum as they are true works of art.
This one has the most beautiful movement with the swirling designs encircling the little flowers. They look like snowdrops to me, but might perhaps be some sort of crocus, fuchsia, etc?
A very fine example of French antique Belle Epoque jewelry, the 18k gold with a satin texture in the recesses contrasting with the high shine areas, just beautiful fabrication. The large ring face which is about 1.1 inch north to south is set with one little green emerald on one end. The ring face leads to beaded/rivet details as each shoulder extended to a reeded shank. The design and that delicious gold work just has me swooning.
No hallmarks remain which is actually common for French pieces as they are marked in the back and often lost during a sizing or from wear. But sold to me from a reputable source in France where the standard is 18k and tested to confirm.
Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size: 7 1/4, slightly snug.
Weight: a sturdy 5.4 grams
Ring face north south: 28mm
And east west measurement of the left / right swirls: 15mm
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Evidence of a sizing to the back, some wear to the rivet details on one shoulder but overall better than most and very legible. Very special setting.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
