Blue Opal Angled Purple Rhodolite Garnet Antique Three Stone Ring Victorian Ring Ornate Stacker 10k Gold
ABOUT:
The color on this opal! A glowing blue opal flanked by two lovely purple rhodolite garnets. This Victorian three stone ring sets the stones at an angle, so it is fun in a ring stack with a bit of asymmetry. That along with the unique coloring of the purple garnets and blue opal (sometimes we see opals more white but this one has a fabulous color) make it a more uncommon design.
Crafted in sturdy 10k gold
Reeded shank with banded shoulders, the piece is crafted glowing 18k gold.
No hallmarks remain sold to me as 10k and tested to confirm.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 1/4. The ring face is 13mm north south .
It weighs 1.5 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
A worn prong here or there but all the stones are surrounded. A few small nibbles and some wear to the opal compared to what it was 125 years ago but it still has a sheen and a wonderful color. No noticeable chips and no cracks.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
